A dedicated space for your child's ID photos
Getting an ID photo for a newborn or a young child can be stressful for parents. Between strict technical rules and your child's own rhythm, it helps to be in good hands. I welcome you in my studio to turn this step into a smooth, successful, stress-free moment.
The studio is set up every Wednesday at 6 rue Challemel Lacour, Lyon 7.
Air-conditioned room, with a changing table and a private breastfeeding space if needed.
My approach: gentleness and expertise
Your child's comfort always comes first — that's how I get a photo that's perfectly compliant.
Continuous lighting only: To protect babies' sensitive eyes, I never use a flash. This soft light avoids glare and doesn't startle the child, which lets me capture a natural, calm gaze.
Patience and care: You can't "direct" a newborn's gaze! I take all the time needed to get your child well positioned and calm. My job is to adapt to their rhythm, not the other way around.
Comfort and privacy: Everything is set up so you feel at ease. A changing table is available for getting ready, and if baby suddenly needs a feed, a quiet private room is available so you can breastfeed comfortably before we continue the session.

For the tiniest babies (just days old)... and grown-up "children" too!
While I specialise in welcoming newborns, my studio is open to everyone. I give older children, and of course "big children" (adults!), the same professional care.
Whether you're 30, 50 or 98, having your ID photo taken can feel intimidating; I guarantee the same patience and a result that shows you at your best.
I also take photos for CVs/resumes and professional headshots.
(By appointment only)
Invisible, careful retouching: your ID photo will stay with you for years. It only makes sense to remove temporary skin issues.
Please note: I only correct temporary marks and never alter the shape of the face, tattoos or scars (this is prohibited under photo regulations).
To remove these temporary marks, I use a Split Frequency treatment in Photoshop — it takes longer, but it's invisible and doesn't smooth or distort the face. (This is careful manual retouching, not a filter.)
My tips for a smooth session
Best timing: Aim for a slot right after a nap or a meal. A well-rested child is usually more cooperative for the camera.
What to wear: Choose colourful clothing that contrasts with the background (avoid white or very light beige). For babies, keep it simple, without a bulky high collar, so the face is clearly visible.
The secret to a good gaze: I have a few tricks to catch little ones' attention, but your reassuring presence next to me remains my best asset.
Staying calm: Children pick up on emotions. Come relaxed! My experience — and the many positive reviews from clients on Google — are there to reassure you we'll get the perfect photo, without stress.
Compliance: Even for a newborn, the rules are the same as for adults: both eyes open evenly, no smiling, eyes level with the camera lens, head straight and facing the lens.
Passports, residence permits and international visas
Every document has its own requirements, and I make sure each background colour and format is followed to the letter:
Chaque document a ses propres exigences, et je veille à ce que chaque fond de couleur soit scrupuleusement respecté :
France (passport, national ID card, residence permit): a grey or light-blue background is required to make the face stand out, per current French regulations.
Specific visas: I produce white-background photos for Algeria or Tunisia, and I'm familiar with the 5x5 cm format used for the US or Canada.
E-Photo & ANTS certification: I'm approved to produce dematerialised, digitally signed photos, required for French driving licences or certain residence permits.
US and Canadian visa photos
I regularly prepare photos to the exact specifications required for US visa applications and Canadian visas and passports, for babies, children and adults alike:
United States: 2 x 2 inch (51 x 51 mm) format, plain white or off-white background, suitable for DS-160 visa applications, Green Card and immigrant visa photos.
Canada: 50 x 70 mm format, plain light-coloured background, neutral expression, for visa applications, permanent residence, and Canadian passport renewals.
I can provide both a printed photo sheet and a correctly sized digital file for online applications.
