What are model digitals?
Model digitals, also known as polaroids, are simple and natural photographs used by modelling agencies to evaluate a model's appearance.
Unlike a fashion editorial or an artistic portfolio, digitals are not intended to create a particular character or visual style. They allow agencies and casting professionals to see your natural appearance, proportions, face and overall presence.
Typical model digitals include:
- a close-up portrait;
- a full-length photograph;
- a three-quarter view;
- a profile;
- simple, natural expressions.
The photographs are taken with neutral lighting, a simple background and minimal styling. No beauty retouching is applied.

In practice, we cover the angles agencies expect: face to camera, profile, three-quarter view, and one or two full-length or half-length shots depending on your build. Enough to have a complete file ready to send the very next day.

You can arrive with the expressions you want to shoot in mind, or we choose them together if you don't know where to start. Then I advise you, guide you and correct you pose by pose so that each expression is truly readable and expressive on camera, not just sketched out.

How Does the digitals Session Work?
You arrive as you are. We chat for a few moments so you feel at ease, I explain the poses one by one (nothing to prepare beforehand), and we work through the shots in front of the plain background. No pressure, no stiff posing: the more natural you are, the better the photos.
In 30 minutes it's done, and you leave knowing the first step toward the agency is ticked off.

Simple, fitted clothing: jeans with a tank top or plain T-shirt, no patterns or logos
Clean hair, simply styled (up or down, according to your natural style)
No heavy makeup: a light, even complexion and a touch of mascara are enough, agencies want to see your real face
